Spectra Reading — Grade 4
intermediateThis course gives students tools to identify character traits, match idioms to their meanings, and distinguish dialogue from the words around it. Students also learn to find the reasons a text gives, compare two things in one article, and follow cause and effect. They strengthen these abilities by reading short stories and nonfiction selections about topics such as training a foster puppy, the history of jazz, and Mars.
