Spectra Reading — Grade 2
beginnerThis course teaches students how to understand a character's feelings, identify cause and effect, and work out new words from surrounding sentences. Students learn to put events in order, recognize what a text is mostly about, and tell fact from opinion. They practice with short passages, stories, and nonfiction about a visit to the zoo, baseball, and how cotton becomes clothing.
