Spectra Engineering — Grade 4
intermediateIn Grade 4, students learn how to evaluate design challenges, compare competing ideas, and systematically test paper models. Each of the 16 one-page lessons is followed by a ten-question quiz that requires a 90% score to move forward, keeping students focused on mastery. Learners use tables to compare designs, test paper spinners, and learn how to plan a carrier for a fragile load using simple classroom items. With unit reviews, a mid-test after Unit 2, and a final test after Unit 4, children discover how to locate weak points in a design and use test results to fix them.
